The Bureau Dubai is a co-working and social space for entrepreneurs, creatives, artists, events, workshops and podcast room. Our Story The concept for The Bureau wasn’t just something we stumbled upon. Five years ago, our founders, Naaz Noor and Faten Kaddoura, (start-up success stories in their own rights) noticed a gap in the marketplace: there was a huge demand for companies and growth in the region, but no place for people to share ideas, learn, collaborate and grow. There was a very noticeable disconnect between the idea-phase and implementation-phase. What was missing was the phase where you socialise, meet other entrepreneurs, and share a positive environment. Starting a business can be daunting. We believe that working with other like-minded people who are going through the same challenges makes all the difference. As long-time business builders and start-up leaders, both Naaz and Faten became interested in building the Dubai start-up community. They have been in the trenches, and know what it’s like to be in your shoes. The main purpose of why they founded The Bureau was to help other entrepreneurs succeed. The struggle of the start-up life is best understood by those who live it. There is a natural sense of belonging between those who trail blaze – in other words, those who create something from nothing. This shared experience lays the groundwork for a community coming together.
