The Burmah Oil Company Limited (hereafter Burmah) was incorporated in Nevada, USA in 2016. Burmah are entirely focused on ground floor or early entry international oil and gas exploration, non-volcanic geothermal energy and acquisitions of producing and undeveloped oil and gas fields. Our management team has relationships in-country in over 76 countries worldwide as a group, especially in South/SE Asia, West Africa and Brazil. While Brazil is not in our immediate plans, when Petrobras puts producing fields up for auction we plan to be aggressive. Burmah is focused on specific plays within those geographic areas of focus. With a geoscience team averaging 37 years of experience, the team knows the basins, plays and opportunites. The company focuses on Petroleum Systems Analysis as an initial screen for culling opportunities. Current water depth focus offshore is shallow (0-300 m) to intermediate water depth niche (300-1000 m, mostly 300-750m). We are focused at this time on two categories of oil and gas exploration risk: 1. Untested or undertested plays in Established (producing) Basins (terminology of Thornton et al, 1994, as with emerging basins). 2. Untested plays in Emerging Basins, those with evidence of hydrocarbon charge, often with undeveloped discoveries, oil seeps, or concrete geochemical and modelling evidence that source rocks which are mature.
