Founded in 1986, The Canadian Continence Foundation is the only national non-profit organization serving the interest of people experiencing incontinence. The Foundation initiated and now coordinates Incontinence Awareness Month in November of each year, promoting public and professional awareness-building and educational activities about incontinence around the country. Mission Statement The Canadian Continence Foundation will: • Raise awareness of bladder and bowel control problems amongst the general public, policy makers and healthcare professionals. • Provide advocacy, information and support regarding the treatments, products and services for people with these conditions.
