Our vision is being the philanthropic leader that inspires and sustains the innovation, coordination, and integration of Animal-Assisted Support Services within Canada's health-care, social services, corrections and justice sectors. Our mission is to co-create healthier and safer communities by investing in the human-animal bond one of Canadians' most treasured connections. CFAS recognized that there was a need to build a single-point of entry to access and share information and resources in order to co-create a seamless continuum of Animal-Assisted Support Services. Who benefits: People, Pets and Partners (Animals in Service) Where: Across Canada and when possible internationally. When: Today and tomorrow How: Our investments are allocated in many different ways such as through grants, hosting and sponsoring events, carrying out and sharing research, responding to thousands of requests for information and support annually, providing a single-entry point to access and share information, assisting other charities with operational needs.
