AHIT has almost 15 years of recognized service in consulting and technology management for healthcare entities. Vetted for experience, credibility, and leadership in 2010 by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, AHIT received a substantial award to provide expert consulting services to physician practices in need of health IT guidance. The AHIT team provides consultation in a variety of areas including proper due diligence related to electronic health records selection, vendor contract negotiations, implementation project management, system utilization to tap into Meaningful Use incentive dollars, attestation and audit requirements, security risk assessments, HIPAA compliant web-based secure messaging, medical home models, and business continuity planning.
