About The Centre for Creative Photography
The Centre for Creative Photography (CCP) is a private educational institution, promoting the highest level of photographic art practice. The CCP is the leading photographic education provider in South Australia. This small, specialised institute offers flexible study in professional facilities. We strive to support photographers at all stages of their art practice and careers. The CCP runs a nationally accredited Certificate IV and Diploma in Photography and Photo Imaging, taking enrolments throughout the year. Short workshops are also run during school holidays. With our flexible learning approach courses can be studied individually for personal interest, upskilling, or to complete the qualifications. Students are able to study full-time or part-time. CCP courses are rigorous, combining hands-on practical skills with theory and conceptual development. The small, face-to-face classes are run by lecturers who are professional photographers. Students are encouraged to become active members of our inclusive and creative community, and can choose to focus on commercial or fine art photographic practice. The CCP is also a resource centre for the local photographic industry. We run the Light Gallery, Adelaide’s only fine art space dedicated to the photographic medium. The CCP’s professionally-equipped photographic studios, darkrooms and digital suite are available for hire.
