About The Centre for Women &
The Centre for Women & Co. is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support to families affected by Domestic and Family Violence, as well as generalist women's wellbeing services, across the Redlands and Logan regions. We provide specialist Domestic and Family Violence support for women and children including crisis support, counselling and court support services. We provide free women’s wellness counselling and support, as well as outreach projects to educate young people, contributing to preventing domestic and family violence. We also provide a men’s behaviour change program that aims to support men who commit violence to change their behaviour. Our amazing team of around 50 staff, consists of counsellors and response teams that are qualified professionals in these specialised fields. Last year we supported just under 30, 000 families across our three sites at Logan Central, Beenleigh and Cleveland, with the vast majority of the support relating to DFV. At our current rates of engagement, this year’s number will be even higher.
