At The Chesapeake Connection our mission is to empower individuals with mild to moderate developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to fostering social communication, and nurturing life skills in each individual we serve. By providing tailored support through our special needs services and encouragement, we aim to enable our participants to lead productive and independent lives. Through compassionate care, personalized attention, and a commitment to inclusivity, we strive to create a nurturing environment where everyone can thrive. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, fostering a sense of belonging and self-confidence as they navigate the world with newfound independence. Our Mission At The Chesapeake Connection, our mission is to support and uplift adults with disabilities by providing comprehensive services and fostering an inclusive environment. We strive to enhance the quality of life for our clients through education, skills building, mindfulness practices and community involvement. Our Story Our journey began when our CEO Pamela Willey started a small meeting group in her home to provide better support and a social outlet for young adults with disabilities who had completed the high school experience and were transitioning into adulthood. Since then, we've grown into a fully realized program with a steadfast commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. From our humble beginnings in Pam’s basement to our current status as a DDA recognized vendor for disability services, we’ve consistently worked towards creating a more inclusive society.
