About The Chijnaya Foundation
The Chijnaya Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works with the legally-constituted Peruvian organization, Pro Desarrollo Integral del Altiplano (Pro DIA), to partner with rural communities in the Southern Andes of Peru to design and implement self-sustaining projects in health, education, and economic development. Pro DIA currently works with 43 rural communities to find integrated approaches to the challenges the indigenous Andean people of this region face. Communities have the most insight on the challenges they face and the solutions that work best for them, so all project ideas come directly from each individual community. This approach has created sustainable results for the health and family economy of every community that we work in. Each community has created numerous projects specific to their needs and vision. Check out our website to explore the specific projects and results of each community. We are lucky to have dedicated staff members, board members, donors, and volunteers who make this work possible. We are always excited to collaborate and there are many ways for you to get involved. Join us: https://www.aplos.com/aws/give/TheChijnayaFoundationInc/DonateNow
