About The Children's Physiotherapy Clinic
I am a highly specialised and skilled children’s physiotherapist. I have worked with babies and children for over 20 years having gained experience in both hospital and community settings. I currently work for the NHS and in private practice. I have expert knowledge in the area of childhood development and children's disability. I keep up to date with current research in order to offer the latest evidence-based treatment approaches to suit each individual child. I see children in a variety of settings including in their own homes, schools, nurseries and at my own practice. I particularly enjoy the challenges and rewards of working with children and their families and I go out of my way to find the best solutions to help the child and their family achieve the best functional outcome possible. Each physiotherapy session is tailored to the individual child ensuring it is focused, fun, child-friendly and able to be carried out by the parents, nursery and school staff. I have an empathic and flexible approach to my work and have excellent interpersonal skills and an open and honest approach when talking with parents and carers. When not at work, I have a busy schedule keeping up with my 4 young sons as well as running, cycling, swimming and shopping!
