For most who wish to work in fashion, there is a high demand to self-fund those early years - with little to no opportunities in areas like Wales. The Circular studio aims to challenge waste in the industry while offering opportunities to those in the local area, without forcing them to move to a major city. As part of this, we are offering accessible workshops in sewing and upcycling to challenge people to re-think their clothes and prolong their use. We are using Caerphilly as the pilot, to not only bring something exciting to the area but to again see if this is something that can be rolled out throughout the rest of the country.
