About The Colebridge Trust (registered charity)
Colebridge Trust is a community development charity, started in 2002 and based in Solihull. We work to improve the lives of people across the borough by tackling inequality, deprivation and empowering communities to realise their potential. Some of our projects include: Colebridge Infrastructure: We provide a range of support services for charities, voluntary organisations and community groups including support with grants funding, CSR, volunteering and governance. Last year alone we supported the local sector to draw in over £1.36 million in grant funding. Colebridge Employment and Skills: We deliver various employment and skills projects from our community centre Junction in North Solihull. Our Skills For Jobs project continues to support over 50 unemployed people each year, of which last year over 62% entered employment. And the Talent Match project which supported over 27 young adults last year. We also operate a social enterprise (Colebridge Enterprises) that provides packing / light assembly services and offers unemployed groups valuable work-based experience. Colebridge Accountancy: Colebridge Accountancy is a not-for-profit accountancy firm supporting not-for-profit organisations based in the West Midlands. Junction: We refurbished a previously unloved and dilapidated community building in Chelmsley Wood and brought it back into use for the benefit of local residents. We are currently consulting the local community about plans to expand the centre to allow us to provide more activities for local people. We are always excited to hear about local projects, funding opportunities and ways we can help more residents and businesses get involved in supporting their communities.
