The Comfortable Public Speaker is an interactive workshop that turns anxiety into excitement by unlocking the natural public speaker and storyteller within us all. It’s a fast paced, fun, one-hour session blending improv and storytelling techniques with time-tested public speaking principals. Each participant takes the stage 2-3 times for short, impromptu speeches while receiving tactical tips and feedback. Regardless of age or level of public experience you’ll walk away a more comfortable and empowered speaker with the tools to craft compelling stories at will. I’ve been conducting these workshops for various schools, companies and other organizations over the past nine months. The workshop is designed for groups of 8–15, runs a tight 60 minutes, and is always free. I’ve been a lifelong public speaking and storytelling aficionado, having taken the stage hundreds of times as a CEO, corporate media executive, and entrepreneur, and many more times in my role as President of Flatiron Toastmasters, one of NY’s most popular Toastmasters clubs.
