About The Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa

The Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa and is a non-profit organisation for its members, run by its members. CAASA’s main aim is to represent the interests of its members and affiliated associations at local, national, and regional levels. CAASA provides a platform for all its members, of the general commercial aviation industry to voice their concerns and participate in the affairs of the aviation sector. It is representative – CAASA sits on a wide range of committees and bodies to monitor and influence legislation and policies Campaigning – CAASA attempts to change situations or introduce new procedures to benefit the aviation industry Monitoring – CAASA monitors changes in legislation and in the market place Promotion – CAASA supports and promotes a variety of aviation organisations Information – CAASA keeps its members advised on the latest information through various channels CAASA is the umbrella organisation for eight associations, namely; • The Airports and Aerodromes Association of Southern Africa • The Association of Aviation Training Organisations of Southern Africa • The Association of Aviation Maintenance Organisation of Southern Africa • The Association of Southern African Aerospace Traders and Allied Industries • The Helicopter Association of Southern Africa • The Association of Non-Scheduled Operators • The Commercial Unmanned Aircraft Association of SA • The Association of Aviation Design Organisations • The Aerospace Quality & Safety Association of Southern Africa
