About The Concert Truck
The Concert Truck activates public spaces and enriches lives by delivering high-quality classical music performances to schools, communities, and open spaces across the country using a fully equipped mobile concert hall. The Concert Truck redefines the concert stage for classical music. The mobility of our venue allows us to embrace new audiences by bringing classical music to them in an engaging, accessible, and innovative way. By taking classical concerts out of their hallowed halls, we create an opportunity for the art form to be separated from its current branding and heard in a different context. Our venue is housed within a 16-foot box truck, which contains foldable side walls, stage lighting, sound equipment, and a hybrid grand piano. The Concert Truck presents award-winning classical musicians in residencies across the country. Musicians spend 3-4 days performing and engaging audiences in schools, after-school programs, homeless shelters, and other outreach venues.
