About The Connection
The Connection is a renowned non-profit organization in Summit, NJ serving a diverse membership of 5,000 women, men and youth from Union, Essex, and Morris Counties. Our health, wellness and enrichment programs benefit everyone from 6 months of age to 100 years. Examples include After School opportunities, adult fitness & wellness programs, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, comprehensive dance and gymnastics programs, STEM & sports youth classes, women’s cancer support (Pathways), and a variety of summer camps. We have a fully-equipped fitness center with certified trainers and a comprehensive aquatics program that includes lessons, water exercise and lap swim for all. We are committed to enhancing lives by fostering community in a welcoming and accessible atmosphere. Our staff and volunteers have made The Connection a community leader for nearly 100 years. We are always looking for dedicated employees to join us and lend their expertise in positions such as lifeguards, instructors, after school staff and administration. Summer counselor and internship positions (winter & summer) are available. Volunteer positions are also available.
