Andrew Cook is a Texas personal injury lawyer based in Houston. Mr. Cook is deeply committed to advocating aggressively on behalf of injured individuals to help them to protect their best interests and obtain fair and just compensation for their damages. Attorney Andrew Cook was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas and graduated from Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his Master’s degree from Maryland’s St. John’s College. Andrew then studied law at the University of Texas School of Law, where he excelled in oral advocacy courses and competitions. He won the Mock Arbitration National Championship hosted by the American Bar Association, and was also invited to become a National Member of the Order of Barristers. Andrew moved to Houston, Texas upon graduating from law school. It was here he began his legal career by working for a commercial litigation and civil defense firm as a defense lawyer. After representing corporations for almost four years, Andrew strongly believed that a change was in order as he had another calling. He proceeded to work for another law firm as a plaintiffs’ attorney, where he could represent individuals instead of large corporations. By working as a plaintiffs’ attorney, Andrew represented hundreds of individuals both in and out of the courtroom. Many of his clients were owners of residential and commercial properties who were exploited by their insurance companies.
