About The Coral Planters
The Coral Planters is a French non-profit organization whose aim is to develop projects for the protection, conservation, preservation and restoration of coral reefs, in France and abroad. If we don't act today, 90% of coral reefs will disappear by 2050 due to human activity (fishing, tourism, coral mining, pollution). Yet coral reefs are home to 25% of marine life and play an essential role in regulating the climate and acting as a coastal bulwark against violent climatic phenomena (cyclones, typhoons, hurricanes). We are therefore directly concerned. The mission of The Coral Planters association is to protect marine ecosystems and raise awareness of the importance of protecting the ocean. Using a patented reef creation technique, we restore coral reefs and replant coral in degraded areas. Our goals: to intensify our restoration projects through new partnerships, as well as our public awareness initiatives. Join us in protecting the ocean by adopting your own reef or coral fragment.
