For too long it has been impossible to source the highest quality crewel material in the UK. Our mission at The Crewel Collective is to provide affordable luxury whilst working collaboratively with our skilled artisans in Kashmir to raise the profile of crewelwork and provide a sustainable, long term future for our partners. The Crewel Collective team produces the highest quality fabrics for interior designers, curtain makers, and retail customers. Our work reflects a commitment to preserving heritage skills, ensuring a sustainable and ethical approach to craftsmanship. Through our collaboration with master artisans in Kashmir, we are able to blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary European and North American design sensibilities. Our fabrics are inspired by classic English Country House interiors whilst also appealing to more contemporary settings, providing depth and texture to minimalist schemes. We seek to build a community which sees the purchase of our artisans' skilled work not as fast fashion for the home but skilfully produced works of art. The Crewel Collective is founded on kindness and collaboration in design, working practices and aspirations.
