About The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County
The Crime Victims' Center provides free, immediate, and confidential crisis response to children and adults victimized by crime and violence. We provide assistance through counseling, advocacy, resources and education. The Center fosters community awareness through its comprehensive and prevention programs. CVC's direct services team provides 24/7 supportive services to victims of all types of crime and violence including, but not limited to: rape, sexual assault, incest, sexual harassment, child abuse, elder abuse, homicide, assault, robbery, identity theft, drunk driving, stalking, and bullying. Services include legal accompaniment to hearings and interviews, medical accompaniment, assistance with preparing victim impact statements, help with restitution or compensation and crisis counseling. CVC also provides ongoing counseling both in the office in West Chester and out in the community. All services are free regardless of income or police involvement in the underlying crime. CVC's services can be accessed 24/7 and 365 days a year by calling one of our hotlines, for sexual assault victims 610-692-7273 and for all other crimes, 610-692-7420. CVC's prevention team presents programs to children of all ages Pre-school -12, college and university students and parents and professionals to promote community awareness and prevent victimization.
