The Cross first opened its doors in the summer of 1996. The Cross is one of the very first lifestyle boutiques in London, selling an eclectic mix of fashion, homeware and gifts. The brainchild of Central Saint Martin’s and Camberwell College of Art textiles graduate, Samantha Robinson, The Cross was set up eighteen years ago. Contrary to the norm, Sam set out to support upcoming labels, knowing how hard it was to get stocked by the stores you love. Today, The Cross continues to search for designers under the radar as well as stocking well known and established brands, our ethos being great style over fleeting trends. Some of the fashion labels we stock include Zero + Maria Cornejo, Dosa, Forte Forte, Matta NY, Pomandere, Vanessa Bruno, MiH Jeans and Frame Denim to name a few. We are renowned in London as a unique and charming shopping destination, tucked away in the idyllic, tree lined streets of Holland Park. Customers return to The Cross for the overall shopping experience. Most of our regulars are on first name basis with the Cross girls (as they are affectionately known as) and enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Not only can customers buy a new outfit, but a unique gift whether it is a Hôtel Costes candle or a Jonathan Adler ceramic or one of a kind jewellery by Pippa Small.
