The Culinary Center of Kansas City is a unique venue in Kansas City dedicated to the education and appreciation of food and culinary tradition through cooking classes, interactive cooking events, private dining experiences, and a curated retail shop. Culinarians of all skill levels are invited to join us in celebrating the culinary arts. Located in Historic Downtown Overland Park, The Culinary Center of Kansas City is situated in a beautifully restored 6,500 square foot turn-of-the-century buggy barn with a soaring, arched wooden roof. Our facility is comprised of two teaching kitchens, an event space, and retail shop curated with culinary tools and gifts. COOKING CLASSES More than 600 contemporary classes in the culinary arts are taught each year, covering a wide range of topics and taught by qualified, experienced instructors. Our goal is to de-mystify the art of cooking and provide a welcoming environment for our guests. PRIVATE EVENTS Our originality, creativity, expertise, attention to detail, warm service and excellent food is what make us stand out. Corporate functions, team building events, weddings, customized theme parties... you name it. From small intimate affairs to large themed events, we love to stretch our creative abilities to create custom solutions that suit your exact desires and needs. RETAIL SHOP At the retail shop, browse a broad array of cooking tools and gadgets carefully curated by our culinary experts.
