The Culinary Studio is Waterloo’s premiere cooking school destination that will unleash your passion for learning, cooking and enjoying food. Hands-on or demonstrative classes will meet the needs of novice, amateur or professional chefs alike. The Studio also offers other services including cooking clubs, lunch n’ learn, team building and is a great place to host corporate events and personal occasions. Grown from a passion of cooking, teaching and enjoying food, The Culinary Studio is a partnership between Red seal trained Chefs Jody O’Malley and Kirstie Herbstreit. Classes and services are informative and entertaining and will guide students through all aspects of meal planning, from recipe and ingredient selection, to tips and tricks of preparation and presentation. The Culinary Studio works with well known local food producers including Vincenzo’s Fine Foods, T&J Seafood, Charles Quality Meats and local area farms. The studio was designed for optimum learning in a relaxed atmosphere. It features a state-of-the-art demo area and purpose-built work stations and kitchen. Your experience is further enhanced with the use of the industry’s best tools – Viking Ranges and Wusthof Knives.
