We are working hard to spread the word about this almost than thirty-year-old initiative. Here is how the Davidson Group works – it’s pretty simple: • You indicate interest in getting to know another person in Nashville from a different background than yours in order to make a friend, understand yourself in a different way, or simply have more dialog about race and culture in our city • The Davidson Group pairs you with another individual who has expressed a desire to participate and sends both 'partners' contact information • You set up a few meetings with each other throughout the year to become acquainted and discuss life, art, community issues or common interests • The Davidson Group sends out prompts to provide places to meet, events of interest or conversation starters • Our community builds bridges between people – one pair at a time!
