Marcus is a classically trained singer who studied for 6 years with International Singing Teacher, Mark Hayden. A light baritone, Marcus developed his own style which incorporated Jazz, Soul & Gospel. During his career he performed at well known Jazz clubs around the world and was a highly sought after singer dubbed as being a 'smooth, sophisticated and sensitive singer who could silence a room and deeply move an audience'. His Album, 'Serendipity' recorded in 1999, was highly received by Jazz FM and also received a very favourable review from Michael Parkinson. Marcus moved away from singing publicly in 2000 to concentrate on teaching his own method of singing which focused on the 'Mind, Body & Spirit of Singing'.
