The Designing Touch was originally founded by Steve Stafford in Fishers, Indiana in the mid-1990’s, later relocating to Middletown, Indiana in the mid-2000’s. The company provides a suite of lawn care and arbor services to commercial and residential clients in Central Indiana. In addition to running a business, Steve was also a family man, marrying the mother of Katherine Milbourne (now Norton) and becoming her father. It was then that the company found its values and evolved into the family-centric business we know and love today. Sadly, Steve passed away in 2023, leaving the company to Katherine and her soon-to-be husband, Chris. Since then, the pair have worked diligently to rebuild the brand from the ground up, and have even brought a new partner on board. Now a trio, the team works daily to uphold the values and standards Steve embodied. With 2024 being their inaugural year, the team has already set their sights on regional and national expansion.
