About The Digital Academy
The Digital Academy continues the 12 years of training programs designed and facilitated by Lyle Wetsch under the Digital & Social Media Program and Digital Marketing Program banners. The Digital Marketing Program emerged as the demand for greater awareness and skills for using digital and social media platforms with the launch of a single 3-day Social Media Course. With the growing utilization of these digital and social media platforms beyond the role of marketing, it was appropriate to revise the name to the Digital & Social Media Program (DSMP). The Digital & Social Media Program was delivered at a variety of partner training locations throughout North America. In 2022 the rapid development of digital platforms and tools beyond the social media including: messaging applications; artificial intelligence; augmented, virtual and extended reality; as well an increasing demand for analytics and data analysis tools has necessitated the next phase of training opportunities with a new brand, THE DIGITAL ACADEMY. This more expansive name, combined with extensive feedback over the past 12 years has allowed to to create a completely redesigned program that is participant focused and more responsive to emerging opportunities! The Digital Academy continues our mandate to provide non profit and for profit organizations with training and guidance on navigating and optimizing the constantly changing digital landscape.
