About The Dirt Series
The Dirt Series is a Motocross style multi round UTV / ATV / MX / Trophy Kart / RZR 170 racing series based in Southern California took a big step forward after its inaugural 2012 debut. The main focus of the series was to bring new life back into the rich history of the area by utilizing existing core tracks or tracks unavailable to some of the vehicles being raced that can accommodate the series premise. We wanted to develop a unique stand alone series that could excite the youth, beginner, amateur, veteran and pro racers. We also wanted to keep the series and travel schedule within a budget minded racer, sponsor, vendor and/or spectator range as well as integrate different racing environments, give away great prizes and just put on a great grass roots race event! To integrate different racing environments for our UTV / ATV /MX /Trophy Kart / RZR 170 racers the schedule we continue to step outside the box. While our schedule does include well-known SoCal tracks we have integrated different course enhancements to each track exclusive only to the series and tracks usually unavailable to some vehicles. For the 2013 season we opened the doors to the Trophy Kart and Polaris RZR 170 world and have received a strong following in doing so. This allowed for a more unique, exciting and much talked about round by round grassroots race series. Racers and fans from all over the West Coast come out to experience this unique and exciting series. With 30+ sponsors contributing to the series and 1000s of racers, families and friends participating throughout the year, the Dirt Series has quickly become one of the more popular race series in Southern California! Looking forward to the 2015 season, our goal is once again to continue to step outside the box and expand our growing series popularity. With our loyal racers and solid fan support, 2015 is well on its way to being the Dirt Series strongest year!
