About The Distressed Real Estate Institute

The Distressed Real Estate Institute teaches new real estate investors how to invest in real estate. We specialize in "distressed real estate" which means that either the property is damaged or the owner is a motivated seller who is in foreclosure or who wants to sell their house fast for cash. We teach new investors how to buy Bank Owned REO Properties, HUD Houses, Foreclosures and Short Sales at our Live Training Events. At our real estate boot camps, we show new investors how to buy, fix and flip houses for a profit. We also teach students how to buy and hold rental properties for the long term, and how to wholesale and flip houses to other real estate investors (wholesaling/flipping). The Distressed Real Estate Institute has trained thousands of students from all over the world how to invest in real estate. We have over 5,000 students that have successfully completed our Partnership Program. The Fixing and Flipping Houses Boot Camp and The Wholesaling Real Estate Boot Camp are our two main events which are held 4 times a year in South Florida. We also offer Advanced Coaching "Inner Circle" Programs 4 times a year, and Private and Group Coaching Programs At 8 Live Training Events Per Year. ABOUT OUR FOUNDER Lex Levinrad, is the founder and CEO of the Distressed Real Estate Institute. Lex has been investing in real estate since 2003 and has personally purchased and sold over 1,000 houses. He has published 7 books about investing in real estate and has been featured on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox News Radio, the Sun Sentinel, Miami Herald, Forbes Magazine & The Real Deal. Lex also hosts the "Investing in Real Estate Show" which has had more than 2.5 million downloads on iTunes.
