About The Dorset Meat Company
The Dorset Meat Company provides a top quality, grass-fed, free-range meat box delivery service from the heart of the Dorset countryside. Founded by Jane and Nick Somper, with the aim of spreading the great meat and food that Dorset has to offer. Having successfully built an online veg box delivery service. Through this Jane and Nick met and built strong relationships with local farmers using traditional methods and felt that the next step was to set about delivering premium meat, that people can have confidence in its quality and provenance using these ancient British farming methods that they care so much about. We only work with the best small Dorset farmers who believe in the same animal welfare and husbandary values that we do. Provenance is becoming more important to everyone, knowing where their meat comes from is a top priority, so all our meat is sourced from local farms and hand-butchered by the award winning Blackmore Vale Butchery and packed by us.
