The Dovecote Barns is a multi award winning 5 star self-catering accommodation offering eco 18th century barn conversions for rental for either short breaks or weekly stays. Located just 20 minutes out of York city centre, it is a peaceful rural setting for a taste of country living near the city. A public bus service runs from Selby train station, past the barns to York city centre every day. There are 4 barns, sleeping 8+2,6,4,2 with each of the 11 luxury bedrooms having their own en-suite wet room or shower/bath room. All 22 adults can dine, socialise and have meetings together in the Long Hall, which means this is an ideal venue for any group, whether corporate event, family, friends, or three generation family groups. Out of a total of 11 en-suite bedrooms, 6 can be split into twin rooms, the remaining 5 rooms are 3 kings and 2 super-kings. Home Chef and Catering options are available, as are pampering sessions in-house and details of group transport. A games room with pool table and darts board and for group bookings, your very own licenced bar in the Long Hall. On arrival, a welcome basket for each barn contains all you need for breakfast for a delicious Yorkshire welcome basket of homemade bread, Yorkshire butter, Locally made jams and marmalade, local eggs, tea, coffee, milk and sugar and choice of Prosecco or wine.
