Our Story..... The Dress was created to make your prom, pageant or special event an unforgettable and affordable experience. Because we know you really only do "wear it once" we've created a way to wear a dress for less. We founded The Dress to give our customers a chance to change the way they shop for their dresses. Having had a life long love of designer gowns and experience in the pageant industry we realize the expenses associated with looking your best. We recognized a need that wasn’t being met, because what do you do with a dress you only wear one time? The Dress was created because everyone deserves to look amazing on their special day without spending thousands of dollars. We rent, consign and retail dresses for all of the wonderful once in a lifetime events like proms, pageants and galas. Our consulting services also provide an opportunity to help you look your best through alterations, hair, makeup and personal coaching. The pageant contestants that we work with find our wardrobe and coaching services to be a key aspect of putting their best foot forward on the stage. It is our philosophy of empowering the individual and shining light on those personal strengths that provide the pathway to a crowning moments in life and on stage.
