About The EBP Institute
The evidence-based practice (EBP) institute offers a five-day course that provides a “deep dive” into EBP. Attendees learn about the Advancing Research and Clinical practice through close Collaboration (ARCC©) Model, the 7-steps of EBP as well as effective strategies for mentoring and implementing EBP in healthcare organizations of any size or level of complexity. An action plan will be developed by each individual/group for implementing EBP and transforming organizational culture in clinical, educational, or leadership settings. Internationally renowned EBP experts and facilitators work with attendees in small groups to ensure individualized attention and success. In addition, organizational and private consulting is available. In both instances, an EBP expert develops evidence-based recommendations for the problem/issue of interest. For organizations, this includes the member meeting with key team members to understand both the current practice and the problem/area of interest. For private individuals, the consult includes possible peer-to-peer discussions with medical professionals caring for the patient to gain insight into the entire clinical picture.
