About The Edge Baseball Training
Our goal at The Edge Baseball Training is to provide a safe, fun, and friendly environment while learning the fundamentals of baseball. Youth are taught exemplary sportsmanship and the importance of teamwork as part of the program. Through baseball, we aim to help youth develop character, leadership abilities, and confidence. It is our intention to assist them in setting and achieving common goals. The feedback we receive from training is what we enjoy most. We found that patience and consistency are the keys to helping develop baseball skills. Feedback is typically positive when the correct fundamentals are taught. As the initial program director for the Dacula Development Program, Clinton Holmes was responsible for implementing the program. There, he helped organize the training of approximately 50 players, from 5u through 18u, per off-season. He has also coached multiple years at Dacula Baseball Association and Mountain View Baseball Association, ages 12u to 18u. He is currently an official with SEOA (Umpire Association) and helps coach/train 18u players. At The Edge, players are taught based on their current skill level. We focus on recreational level players, allowing them to build fundamentals at their own pace.
