The 20th Anniversary of the Emerald Cup (https://theemeraldcup.com/) is expanding its programming to create the best attendee experience ever on the weekend of Aug 17th and 18th 2024. With the support of Visit Oakland (https://www.visitoakland.com/), we are bringing the Cup to our new home, the historic Henry J. Kaiser Center For The Arts (https://www.hjkarts.com/) in Oakland, CA. The Emerald Cup Competition and Awards has long been known to be the “Academy Awards Of Cannabis” and holds the most respected accolade in the industry. The festival is the platform for being the cultural center for cannabis connoisseurs where you can get the best genetics and purchase the latest drops of top-tier California cannabis. Our consumer marketplace is our hub for community, music, art, and networking within the spectacles of the cultural experience and innovations of consuming the plant. For the 20th Year we are planning a bigger, better, larger experience with new components including an Emerald Cup “From Then ‘Til Now” Gallery, B2B, Custom Hash Holes, Hand-Blown Glass Exhibition, Cannabis Carnival Games, Podcast Station, Live On-Site Trick Rolling, local Bay Area artists and musicians, B-Boy/B-Girl battles, and much more fun embracing our California legacy. The Competition entries, categories and judging will have a longer timeline to support our farms and brands to deliver their best product for our Emerald Cup judges. The City of Oakland is embracing the Emerald Cup as one of their most important events of the year. Henry J. Kaiser Center For The Arts is a 110-year-old art deco venue with a history of hosting great music and luminaries such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Grateful Dead, Hendrix, Queen, Sinatra, Dylan, Elvis and Bob Marley.
