The EQUUS Partnership Ltd. is a fully independent acoustic consultancy practice formed in 1993 by Steven Gardner and Christopher Hookway and is a Member of the Association of Noise Consultants. The principals are affiliated with both the Institute of Acoustics and the Society of Environmental Engineers and have a combined experience in the field of acoustics in excess of 60 years! EQUUS is dedicated to providing high quality practical advice at reasonable rates and endeavours to bring added value to each and every commission. Every project is handled throughout by a Director or Associate, thus ensuring the highest calibre of service and continuity at all times. This approach has led to a loyal and ever expanding client base, which in itself has provided a diverse range of challenges over the last 20 years, both in the UK and overseas. The varying range of projects undertaken has naturally increased the collective knowledge and expertise of the business. The practice is able to provide advice on all aspects of noise and vibration control from conceptual pre-planning stages through to final commissioning, and furthermore, the senior staff are all experienced as expert witnesses in the field of acoustics. Selected staff are also registered to undertake Pre-Completion Testing (PCT) in accordance with Approved Document E of The Building Regulations.
