About The Evaluation Center
The Evaluation Center offers a full range of evaluation services to our clients, including designing and conducting evaluations, integrating qualitative and quantitative analyses, and disseminating findings in a useful way. We have extensive experience providing program evaluation to a wide variety of clients, including K-12 public school systems, non-profit organizations, biomedical research universities, and private professional development programs. All of the programs we evaluate are unique and have their own nuances and specific needs. We strive to provide affordable, tailored evaluations that are rigorous and meaningful to our clients. The Evaluation Center is unique among program evaluation groups because we operate as an autonomous not-for-profit entity embedded within the University of Colorado Denver. Mission Statement We strive to make evaluation a valued and widely accepted practice by increasing the use and understanding of evaluation. We collaborate with our clients to support evidence-informed programs, practices, and policies in schools, institutions of higher education, governmental agencies, and nonprofit organizations. We use rigorous and innovative quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods. We help clients obtain and use information to make informed decisions about the implementation and effectiveness of their programs and policies. We make evaluation meaningful and accessible to multiple audiences. We support the development of evaluation capacity and its use within institutions and organizations. We provide graduate students with hands-on experience. We advocate for the value and use of evaluation by a wide range of stakeholders. Our work advances the field of evaluation.
