About The Family Stewardship Group
Trudy Pelletier Consulting Inc. exists to liberate and unify families in love and purpose. Family enterprise, families who work together, and business partners work with me because my processes and roadmap of conversations resolves their biggest conflicts, creates unity, and preserves wealth so individuals and their families prosper now, and for generations. We are in the largest generational wealth transfer in our history. Statistics show the odds are against families being successful in transition. History is full of families torn apart while their fortunes are wasted because of family conflict. Research proves the family system is the least cared for system, said another way does not have governance. Family governance does not get the attention it requires because of the complexity of the emotional nature of family, history, and dynamics. Every family needs and has some degree of governance. We usually don’t think about it as governance. When I was a parent of young children, I thought about our parenting responsibilities as discipline, family principles, values, goals, and dreams. I think there would be agreement, families who have little governance have more chaos, conflict, dysfunction, and even fracture. Having served private family enterprise in succession and continuity planning for 14-years, the only difference in governance required I see is the level of formality. Families who have much at stake increase their success in being unified while preserving and stewarding their wealth with family governance. Ready to begin?
