About The FIG Tree (Garstang)
All's Fair Tours Ltd is a social enterprise set up to link fair trade campaigners and supporters with farmers and workers in Ghana. We offer trade justice themed tours of Ghana to include the UNESCO World Heritage Site Cape Coast with castles and forts that were central to the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the colonial city of Kumasi. Our 7 day tour includes three nights in New Koforidua, Africa's First Fair Trade Town including meeting the Chief Nana Yaw Sarpong I and elders as well as spending a day with a cocoa farming family. Our social mission is to support people in cocoa growing communities to increase and diversify their incomes. All our suppliers will be local Ghanaian owned businesses. We will support the evolution of New Koforidua's Co-operative House which was purpose built for the global fair trade community to immerse themselves in the Fairtrade cocoa growing community. All work undertaken on the house will use natural and local materials and suppliers.
