In the Spring of 1982, Irene, who is The Flag Lady, was asked by a neighbor to do some repair stitch work on a flag for a Chicago area bank. When she was asked to do it again later that year, she and her husband Jim decided to start their own business. And that is how Irene became "THE FLAG LADY". 28 years later, a simple repair has grown into "THE FLAG LADY CORPORATION". We service over 4,000 commercial, industrial and government accounts, as well as a multitude of individuals worldwide. We have flags and customers from every state in the union, several countries, and places as far away as the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands in the South Pacific. The Flag Lady Corporation has grown from simply repairing the frayed tattered end of the flag, to a full service flag source. Because of our "hands on" experience, we KNOW the flag business. Our mission is to provide you with all of your flag, banner, and flag pole needs. The Flag Lady Corporation also offers Custom and Corporate designed flags, in addition to specialty trade show banners, table and wall banners.
