About The Florida Moot Court Team
The Florida Moot Court Team is a student-run moot court team, comprised of second and third year students at the Levin College of Law. We choose new members at the end of each summer from a rigorous try-out process, which requires candidates to satisfy extensive written and oral advocacy requirements. Once our full team for the academic year is selected, we are divided into teams of two or three (plus one student coach). As a result of the generous support of the Levin College of Law and our Florida Moot Court Team alumni, these teams proudly represent the University of Florida at competitions across the county alongside students and faculty from law schools across the United States, and before some of the country’s most renowned judges and practitioners. Throughout its rich history, the team has received numerous state and national awards.
