About The FLYWERX Project
We are a group of Combat Veterans who have, through our own struggles, discovered the benefits of outdoor careers, and how they have brought us peace, clarity, and a renewed sense of passion and purpose. Helping other Veterans achieve these same goals is what has brought about this project, and through our channel partners within the outdoor and guiding industries, we bring this unique passion to others. Our primary goal is to provide Veterans the opportunity to become Professional Fly fishing Guides, Lodge Managers and Lodge Workers within the International Fly fishing Industry. Building upon the professionalism, experience and skill sets gained during their military service, Veterans make excellent, dependable, and hardworking guides. Through school enhancement, Veterans will be given the opportunity to attend top guide schools in the US, which will provide them the skill sets needed to become professionals within the fishing industry. Furthermore, we focus on every aspect of Veteran transition with the goal of seeing our participants find peace, wellness, and success, both mentally and physically.
