Our vision is to see individuals, families, and neighbors grow into a loving, supportive, cooperative, and successful community! We focus on one neighborhood at a time and provide servant leadership to strengthen and resource our locale for long-term health! We aim to encourage and equip individuals toward higher levels of strength-based, collaborative growth. We recruit and mobilize community partners to facilitate relationships for collective and long-term impact. The Focus Center has been building relationships and impacting lives in the Park Place neighborhood for over 10 years. Historically, we have partnered with Park Place School, Norfolk Christian School, and local Norfolk Public Schools with providing various kinds of support like classroom aids, student mentors, tutoring, empowerment groups, and clubs. In this season, we offer free adult education and empowerment programs including personal finance workshops, computer classes, women's empowerment groups, fitness classes, addiction recovery support groups, and more!
