About The Forgotten Children's Fund
The Forgotten Children's Fund is an all-volunteer organization and retains no salaried employees. Every year, during the holiday season, volunteers work together to raise money to purchase, wrap, and deliver gifts to needy children and their families. During the remainder of the year, you will find our volunteers at the M-Bar-C Ranch. The ranch is located on Whidbey Island just outside of Freeland. Situated on 60 acres of rolling pasture land the facilities provide both activity and at the same time a peaceful respite for those who visit. The Ranch conducts a western adventure for children who have a variety of special needs – physical, mental, emotional and/or financial. Children visiting the ranch have the opportunity to become the “most kid they can be” for the time they are here.
