The Foundery was established as an entrepreneurial catalyst, for a time such as this. The world is changing rapidly due to numerous factors, such as the 4th Industrial Revolution, the VUCA-world phenomenon, COVID-19, national recessions and political instability, as well as other global disruptors. In light of these new realities, our contribution can best be described by the following considerations: WHY We Exist: We exist to propel capital growth for all stakeholders, based on Kingdom-minded values and principles, to bring about transformation and hope within systemic broken societies. WHO We Are: The Foundery is a collective of people-centric entrepreneurs who catalyse scalable entrepreneurial ventures. WHAT We Do: We develop and empower entrepreneurs based on the principles of human capital investment to establish and grow Industry 4 enabled organisations. HOW We Do It: A dual approach best executes our mandate, based on both the alignment of entrepreneurial psychology as well as the crafting of complementary skills: 1. We train and develop new and existing entrepreneurs alongside our academic and enterprise development partners, based on three levels: Entrepreneurial master classes; SETA accredited NQF 4 qualification (TBC); SETA accredited NQF 5 learnership (TBC). 2. Through our internal incubator, we facilitate a development process for new and existing entrepreneurs, based on four phases: Phase 1: I-Founder - A six-month part-time investment program for all prospective entrepreneurs. Phase 2: Pioneering - A three-year development process during which the entrepreneur will be required to craft and successfully establish their own business. Phase 3: Established - A three-year consolidation phase during which the business will grow with the assistance of strategic partners. Phase 4: Scaling - Introduce the entrepreneur to a private equity investor market, to exponentially scale their business model for a sustainable future.
