About The Four Pillars Foundation

The Four Pillars Foundation is a non-profit organization which specializes in Community Development. The B.E.S.T. Programs are part of Pillar I - Youth Education. We have developed a successful book club for youth in grades 2-5 in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. We meet monthly and work to give the members a deeper understanding of the text as well broaden their exposure and affinity towards reading by selecting books that they may not have come into contact with but contain interesting subject matter and by using interactive activities to engage and entice the youth. The Einstein Club is a science club for children in grades 2-5 where we explore different branches of science and engage the members by using experimentation and the scientific method to deepen their understanding of basic scientific principles.
