About The Freedom Child Foundation
The Freedom Child Foundation (TFCF) aims to provide support and resources to adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17 who have one or both parents incarcerated. Family connection is the life line for children with incarcerated parents but in many cases, the prison industrial complex makes it difficult or expensive for children to remain in contact with their parents. TFCF provides stationary materials, money for phone calls, and support with in visitation to children with parents that are in prison. We also focus on the totality of the children and will pay up for 5 sessions of therapy to help children cope and process this traumatic time.
