The Fremantle Foundry and Engineering Co. (FFE) is one of the oldest family-owned businesses in Western Australia, providing a wide range of marine fabrication and maintenance services to our client base across a broad cross-section of industries, in particular Defence and Commercial Maritime. Our capabilities have been developed over more than 100 years in the shipping repair industry, underpinned by the ongoing commitment of FFE Management to the development of local skills. FFE operations are supported by our integrated Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Information Security Management System, maintained and accredited to the International Standards Organisation's (ISO), 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001 standards. Our operations also include a fully certified testing facility operated under NATA accreditation ISO/IEC 17025, as well as DNV Approved Workshop for Welding & Fabrication. FFE specialise in marine propulsion services as well as repairs and overhaul of all types of marine machinery and equipment, including but not limited to ships hulls, appendages, and fittings. Our Senior Management Team is committed to the ongoing provision of services based on a safety-first approach, and responsible environmental practices. Due consideration is given to the life cycle of FFE products and materials, to eliminate or reduce our environmental impact.
