About The French Lemon

The French Lemon is a mother - daughter run company based in Morningside. We started The French Lemon In march 2017, shortly after we rescued a French Bulldog called Ian (he is the face of the French Lemon). All our soaps are kaolin clay, coconut oil and shea butter based which in return your skin will feel smooth, silky and moisturised. Our products are all vegan friendly and palm oil free. We do not support the deforestation as well as the animals that are affected due to their “homes” being destroyed. All our products are SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) free, meaning we use a natural surfactant to make the soap foam. SLS is a chemical and has loads of disadvantages which can cause skin irritations as well as many other disruptions to the body. Our products are suitable for women who are wanting to fall pregnant who want to ensure they are not putting toxins into their system through chemicals in their beauty products. We are passionate about what we do and aim to create more jobs, more awareness, cater to those with a palm oil free, vegan and anti-animal testing lifestyle.
