About The Getaway Foundation

Our founder's childhood memories are based on their family’s holidays. Many families today do not get this chance. We were founded in January 2020 to benefit families in poverty through the provision of UK seaside holidays, to help create happy family memories. Poverty is one of the biggest issues impacting families today in the UK and we are focused on providing relief for families in poverty We are currently prioritising our funding to book our first pilot holidays with our supporting partners, Isle of Wight Council, Buckinghamshire Council and Milton Keynes Council . All applications for family holidays are being referred via our supporting partners. We will be providing our pilot holidays through Parkdean Resorts for Summer 2021
